Attorney Profile

Brian L. McMahon was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He graduated from Cretin High School in 1987 and the University of Notre Dame in 1991.  After college, he accepted a position in sales with General Mills.  He was promoted every year while at General Mills before leaving that company in 1996 to pursue a legal career.

Brian attended William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated cum laude in 1999.  He was Executive Editor of William Mitchell’s Law Review.  Upon graduation, he accepted a position as an attorney with the Minneapolis law firm of Gray Plant Mooty, one of Minnesota’s oldest law firms.  Brian was elected a partner at that firm at the end of 2005.  In early 2006, Brian started McMahon Law Firm LLC.  Brian has successfully litigated cases through trial, appeal, mediation, and arbitration.
